My daughter is age 7 and has all the typical behavioural issues of a child with ADHD. She is disruptive in school, it is impossible to get her to sit down and concentrate, she gets easily frustrated and has an angry temperament, can get quite aggressive. I have taken her to a private child psychologist who recommended medication but i am a bit hesitant about it as i'm not sure it is the best idea for a child who is still developing. it is already a struggle getting my daughter to eat and i'm not sure that having her on a drug that is an appetite suppressant is a good idea, however i have heard that the drugs are very effective so i am very torn. any advice on the subject would be very welcome!
