Hi everyone,
I'm new to mumsnet and am hoping for some practical advice.
I would like my ds to be seen by an educational psychologist but don't know where to start. He hasn't been doing well at school for some time though he is very smart, works very hard and attends all the booster classes across all subjects run at school. Exam results are very poor and I feel there's something holding him back. At 14 I feel having him assessed would be helpful. Thinking of moving schools as his is very academic but need to understand his needs better. Has anyone had a similar experience? Have you needed to see an educational psychologist? If so, please could you recommend one?
Many thanks in advance!

Pascale Mather is excellent and works with a lot of schools in SE London.
