My DH and I would like to move to Bucks possibly Wendover. We are looking at schools for my 6 year old autistic DS (special school) and 4 year old DD (mainstream). We are visiting Chiltern way academy (Bierton Hill) and are not sure which other schools to visit. Our DS is a bright boy with an amazing memory but struggles with sitting still and concentrating. We are concerned that his current special school moves too slowly with the curriculum and we tend to do extra work after school (they don't send home homework). We are looking for a special school that doesn't just focus on independent skills like making a sandwich but the academic side too..... Does such a school exist anywhere? Appreciate any knowledge on the area around Aylesbury as understand Wendover is small...
