...what was the outcome? Currently considering options for my miserable dyslexic 9 yr old and am interested to hear whether things improved in mainstream, or if you decided home educate, go to a specialist school, and/or push for an EHCP.
Or if you're currently going through this it'd be great to share experiences too.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi I really need some help with my 8 year old son he has become so disruptive at school I stressing about him returning after half term Monday . He was diagnosed with Dyslexia when he was 6 he seemed to manage school ok until year 3?its all gone crazy he can’t sit still doesn’t understand any instructions?? He was recently assessed at school as they were concerned with his behaviour and learning . He scored low yr1 and age 4 reading . Teachers and I feel he also could have ADHD and dyspraxia and possibly dyscalculia!!!! He’s so frustrated he’s just being told off all the time for not listening. If anyone has any advice or you live near Hemel Hempstead and know of any other mainstream with better send support as I know his current school have said he needs a special school and won’t give him a 1 to 1 due to budgets .
