More House School Frensham

Poor DS is unravelling completely since starting senior school in September, which is culminating in school refusal. His self esteem is at rock bottom, I am missing a lot of time at work, we are all pretty stressed.

I stumbled across More House and it looks perfect for him. DS has a high IQ but has ADHD and is underperforming. He also displays oppositional behaviours sometimes and gets very angry.

Does anyone know if More House are likely to say no to us on the basis of the oppositional / angry side of his personality?

They are my only glimmer of hope at the moment.

Hi there, sorry you are having such a tough time. There was another recent thread about More House. We went to see it recently and I was impressed. It had a friendly and approachable vibe.

I think you just need to call them and see what they say. Initially we had a telephone conversation with the registrar. I suppose it might depend what his oppositional behaviour is in relation too? They did mention to us that there were behaviours that they weren’t able to deal with but weren’t more specific than this. Good luck .
