hi Titch
have heard that it is good for children with dyslexia, but don't know about aspie/adha.
I have been thinking about going to have a look at it myself, I know someone who knows someone (a bit remote I know) whos three children go there and they have given very good reports, but they do not have any SEN.

Hi isgrassgreener - are you thinking of it with regard to aspieness aswell? My son is very borderline and the classes are so small I think he would be able to stay on task without wandering off to dreamland so much. He is currently in state education in a class of 32 andfinds it hard from a sensory point of view although the teacher he has had this year is incredible. Trouble is - when I had a look I couldn't help thinking of my little girl in reception as well - I reckon she would love it - however - we would then be talking big bucks .... ho, hum......

Have been thinking about it for my eldest who is 9 and is dyslexic. I do have another who is 7 and has AS, but he has a statement, so at the moment the provision is working well in state school.
Yes, it would be a huge financial commitment for two children to go there and we would only be able to do it if we moved closer to the school and downsized, so not sure if it is the solution or not.
Must find out when their next open day is.

We would probably move closer too - house prices are good there compared to where we are so it looks possible. The open day is is 13th October - apparently the whole family is welcome and there will be activities organised for the kids. Maybe see you there!
