Hi,

I'm worried about the reading expectations in high school (year 9) and am looking for ways to help get ahead of any issues.

Have any of you used audio books to help with this?

What is the most cost effective way to go about it?

I have not got my head around audible as yet, I can't work out the pricing Blush but it seems quite expensive?

Lots of links here: www.booksforall.org.uk/finding-books/audio-books/

Also RNIB have plenty for free (they may be included in the link above or google RNIB audiobooks).

You can also use the voiceover function in any Apple device for free to read books in pdf. Book an in-store demonstration- they are really helpful.
