My 15 year old son really struggles to pronounce certain words. He gets quite embarrassed sometimes which is a shame and can hold him back from speaking up.
He is quite intelligent and finds maths and science subjects easier than English, he is however an amazing speller! But there is a definite issue with pronouncing words most people just know how to say!
Examples would be like Mr Black-Man instead of Mr Blackman. And pronouncing tidy like tiddy.
When telling the time he'll say 40 past 8 rather than 8:40.
Has anyone else come across this? I might be making a mountain out of a molehill but I'm not sure 🤔 xx
