The EP advised for DS to have advice from specialist dyslexia teacher. I talked to the school and they say it is not happening.
I am considering to do it privately, finding someone at PATOSS, but I am new to this.
What qualifications should a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher have for the LA to take it?
What does she/he do as part of advice? What kind of advice is given?
I am also looking at some study skills advice and tuition from a dyslexia specialist.
What do they actually teach? I mean do they teach the subjects in a dyslexia helpful way?
Can they drill into DS the suitable study skills to apply independently to all subjects?
