I hope I am not speaking completely out of line here, and I know every child is different, but I believe that many of the delays with GDD, are often those encountered with a disability such as Down Syndrome.

The "range" of disability withing DS includes, cognitive, gross/fine motor skills, speech, hypotonia, memory, visual, audio...

I hope you don't mind me "comparing" but there is sooo much research out there and available for Down Syndrome that might be able to make a start at least.

(PS my DD has Down Syndrome!)
