Why are do people who are lucky enough to not to need medication to treat a dc with SN so judgmental of those who do? i've lost count of the number of times someone on hearing ds uses medication for his adhd has launched into the pros and cons of medication, was i aware they are 'carcinogenic' and 'therapy' works really well, and there is no need to use medication.

Do these idiots think that parents who use medication haven't considered the pros and cons, have never heard of therapy, never tried therapy and just jumped for the first and least physically exerting treatment. Pop a pill?

Its not just adhd its lots of other conditions as well, OCD, tics, etc its the same thing, "you do know those pills are dangerous don't you? have you tried CBT? well yes we've bloody tried that for the last 2 yrs, AND IT HASNT WORKED!!! this was our last resort! Angry

rant over.
