Hi firs time on the boards
Im looking for some help and advise , legal if possible , based on experience if not on how to progress with a change of school for my son .
Back ground
Currently has a SEN statement / converted to an ECH plan
Son global developmental delay , severe learning diabilties , autism and related behavioural difficulties ...no speech
Currently in a 37 week placement comes home at holidays and every other weekend.
We have found a wonderful 52 week placement school that is private so the LEA or Social Caare would need to found it .
This means we would see our son when we want to with additional supped for the new school ...

We have requested an assesement from social care to be started so we can discuss the school we want
Social Care have passed us back to Education Team to start an integrated assessment
Education team say its the social care team that need to take the lead on this and vice versa. We re stuck between them and meed some advice
thanks

Hi mrboots, as I said on your original post, it's really not a great idea to use your name on here, assuming those are your real names. If you click on "report" you can ask HQ to remove the names for you Smile

PHANTOMnamechanger · 12/03/2015 19:55

in fact, i have reported both threads for you and HQ will probably edit the names out
