Hi, my dd, age 7 has really struggled at school. I have asked for meetings every year with her class teachers and been told she isn't struggling, she's doing what is expected at that age but I just knew something wasn't right.
Arranged another meeting with her class teacher last week and was told that they have in fact got concerns that she is dyslexic and have arranged a meeting with the learning support teacher for this week.
I'm glad someone is now taking my concerns seriously but as a bit worried about this meeting. Can anyone give me advice about what I need to be asking, what the school will be doing and how they actually diagnose dyslexia.
