yes, saw it - very interesting.

Seems logical though - exercising the brain.

Logical, the exercises they showed with beanbags were similar to ds' OT ones. Costs a fair bit though and requires descipline to do the exercises, not so easy in a school age child as a self motivated adult.

My ds is doing this at the moment too. We are just starting to see major improvements in his handwriting and short term memory /concentration. Part of the reason we do it every day is that I know we've paid loads for it. Have actually just finished a dyslexia institute teaching course (was teacher anyway) and have had a lot of cynicism from others. Luckily ds's new teacher is more open to different ideas. Wd like to keep in touch with anyone else doing it to see how progress goes.
