Is there a set format for IEPs? This is what school have sent home. Am I right that there shouldn't be 2 versions and it should all be more less woolly? (ds3 ASD statemented Y9)

Dear Mrs Eatyourveg
Please find attached the IEP for ds3. I keep another version for staff which details his needs and strategies. Please let me know if this is acceptable, and if it is, please could you discuss the targets with ds3?

I would have thought that they should keep a copy, not another version. You should know what strategies they are employing.
I'm not an expert, DS1 has just been put on an IEP (School Action) and I am really feeling my way through the jargon and bureaucracy.
