DLA and Asperger's diagnosis

What rate of care do you get? Does anyone get the highest rate?

I get middle rate care and lower rate mobility, my sister otoh gets higher rate care - not sure how, think it might be night-time needs

We get the highest rate for our 12 yr old ds, he gets the higher rate of care I think as he needs supervision at night due to his sleep problems to put it mildly. If he didn't have those he would probably get the middle rate.

We also get the higher rate care and lower mobility.At the beginning of our claim for DLA we got middle rate care and no mobility but we appealed, didnt get anywhere so we then went to tribunal where we were awarded high rate and low rate mobility. With us it was about the care he needed when we went out ie behaviour and also his care at night, he needs very little sleep!
