Looking for an Edinburgh pupil aged 8-14 who is experiencing literacy difficulties

Dear Parents,

I'm a student on the PG Cert in Dyslexia and Literacy run by Dyslexia Action and validated by the University of York. The course is mostly online; I live in Edinburgh.

Currently I work with students who have dyslexia at university level. However, part of the PG Cert course involves arranging a placement with a pupil aged 8-14 who is experiencing difficulties with basic literacy.

Is there anybody out there who has children or knows a family who would benefit from additional one-to-one support? If so, I'd be delighted to discuss the possibility of arranging this, or answer any questions you may have.

Kind regards,

Elizabeth Welsh

Hi Elizabeth can't help you, I'm in the 'same boat' as you but looking for a 16+ student! Hope you've been successful.
