We have wanted DC to go to mainstream sec sch as HFA - high functioning, got an independent Ed Psych to assess, Now, the Ed Psych reports that both schools - our choice and the LEA's are not suitable as DC needs a smaller classroom environment amongs others. We had not been looking any where else as we thought our choice was perfect.
Now going to tribunal - i guess we have to ask for an adjornment so we can look for other schools.
In the meantine anyone had any experience of this and any SE/Kent schools with ASD provision but smaller class. Not considering special school - independent or mainstream will do. HELP - ANY ADVICE please . Easter break has not helped much now. I am losing my sleep and hair at the moment.:(
