Can I wear an abaya style outfit to a Sikh wedding in a Gurdwara if I team it with a dupatta?

Just that really. I am breastfeeding and the outfit I’ve found is button down. Very modest. Abaya style with trousers underneath and more like what would be worn in UAE than a Punjabi outfit.

I got fitted for a sharara and spent a small fortune but I won’t be able to breastfeed and the wedding is 5 hours long.

I hope that makes sense.

button down punjabi suits are really cheap, not sure why you need an abaya?

i have been to a lot of Sikh weddings in gurdwaras and some of our Muslim guests have worn abaya so this is fine.
just thought though could your sharara top be altered by a tailor (my cousin had a suit top altered and the tailor cut the top so it had a button up panel to support feeding put in)
