Uncle used the P word

I'm British South Asian and DH is white. DH's elderly uncle told an anecdote today using the P word in its entirety four times, in front of our dual heritage teen DD.

We left immediately. What to do if our paths cross again over the hols???

Surely educating this elderly uncle is the right thing to do here, than running away from the situation.
