What to do in London for Diwali sans kids

My DC are all grown up and doing their own thing for Diwali with their own friends. I have no family here, and this year we have no Diwali parties to attend. Is there anything fun to do in London with just DH?😊

Go to Leicester. It’s THE Diwali Party. Even people from India plan their travels specifically to see it as you don’t get anything like that there.

Yes, go to Wembley. Buy Indian decorations. I love the garlands. The only thing is they are made of plastic.

Decorate your house with garland and fairy lights. Buy or make some Indian sweets followed by Indian dinner. Include your husband in all the decoration and cooking jobs 😊

Leicester may be too far, but I guess Wembley. Sadly I can't make too many Indian sweets as Dh is diabetic and DC have limited sweet tooths, but will make a few. We were supposed to go to a party, but it was cancelled last minute as host had a death in the family.😔
