My 5 year old is in main stream but recently has been given a place for a specialist school in September. He’s never done a full day in school and only does half days. So I am worried but I know the new school will be used to this and mange him much better then the mainstream have. I’m really excited and I feel he will blossom once he gets settled!
so my question for anyone who’s child got moved from mainstream to specialist did you have a meeting? Or do you just wait until September and send them in on the first day? His EHCP only just got finalised and it doesn’t explain anything about the new school or how it will work
