Unknown condition

So my baby has a condition which is unknown still 8 months after raising the concern! Her legs are stiff her feet can't be placed flat on the ground and are not straight. She had to have boots and splints to straighten them out but have to wait another month for them! Last appointment she had with the pedi they were talking about maybe a ' genetic condition ' or a ' metabolic condition ' I'm just confused why everything is taking so long she was meant to be booked in for a mri straight after Christmas but haven't heard anything!

She's attending phyiso every week, she says a few words.. it's just it's horrible not knowing what it could be, nothing was detected in my pregnancy's I did have reduced movements that they're concerned about now but never were when I was actually carrying my daughter! Should I be more pushy? When she had a blood test and a wee sample given I was told I wouldn't find out the results till March! I mean I know they're trying to help as much as they can and the nhs are stretched but babies bones are soft so why is it taking a month for boots? Surely she would of put grown the ones they've ordered by then to..
