Homewares Side Hustle

Evening all, I fancy trying my hand at a small side hustle selling seasonal homeware products. I've found a couple of websites which look suitable to purchase stock from. My 1st hurdle is I can't see the stock prices and must register with my company name etc to see the prices. I don't have a company name yet and depending on product prices may not move forward with this idea at all!

I'm looking for advice or steps to take to try to set myself up.

In all honesty I'm not going to throw my all into it, I just thought it would be nice to choose some pieces, try to sell them through etsy or instagram, and make a few extra pennies.

Hi @Sidehustlehelp !

You could probably make up a company name as a placeholder and change it further down the line, especially if you are still at the stock-finding stage.

Are you planning on buying stock in bulk? Or just individual pieces? If you’re going for bulk, Square is great for e-commerce and fees are quite low, especially compared to Etsy.

Feel free to PM me if you need any help! I run a small business helping other small business owners get started, both with websites and digital marketing, so happy to help if you need any advice!
