Just been made redundant.

Three weeks short of Christmas and I was one day less of my two years service so I’ll only get paid another 9 days annual leave.
I didn’t see it coming. I’m utterly gutted.
but determined not to let this beat me.
i’ve been in specialist lending for years in employed roles but think it’s time I take the plunge and start my own brokerage.
Are there any brokers here?
Does anyone have any advice for me?

It's dreadful they've synically let you go 1 day short of 2 years service and especially just before Xmas. I don't know anything about brokerage but wish you well.

I don't know anything about brokerage either, but I do know exactly how you feel having been made redundant this week too. Only six years in my case, but the fact you can become so completely disposable overnight does make you never want to work for any employer ever again.
