Am I a sole trader?

I’m a sahm but kids are now at school/pre-school and I’ve started doing gardening maintenance jobs for family and friends and word has spread. People in the local villages are now asking if I can mow their lawns, weed and prune etc. I love gardening and being outside so am happy to do this for a fee, but in terms of tax and insurance etc. what do I need to do?
