credit card payments

Any help gratefully received!

I run a new small business that provides services in low volume. I have a US client who wants to pay by credit card but I haven't set up the capability yet. Can anyone recommend a provider to get me set up?

I'm probably only going to be accepting payments like this once in a blue moon, so ideally I need a cheap service, if such a thing exists.

Just use PayPal and set up a business account with them. No need for anything complicated where you have a subscription fee.

Oh fab, thank you! I have one, and I use Xero, which I notice offers a PayPal option.

Just make sure they pay you in pounds and not dollars.
