Help 11yr old daughter craft stall

Hi, my daughter is 11 and has her heart set on a table at a local christmas market selling some bits. I'm happy to.help her and have done similar in the past however I am now very aware very few people carry cash. Is there a way of taking card payments for a one of event that isn't too costly. I obviously don't want to subscribe to anything as likely to be a one off. Thank you

Square is a point of sale box that runs off a smart phone

If someone refers you they get a benefit and you get to choose between a free box (normally £20) or free transactions for upto £1000 over the next 6 months

But tbh I'd be more concerned about public liability insurance as loads of markets (& all reputable ones) won't take traders without it
