Career change HR?

Hello,
I am looking to change my career from a carer to HR.

I am looking for advice on how to do this.

I have looked at a course and I did a role within the care sector that involved some HR, recruitment, supervisions, compliance and training.

Do you think I could actually get a role in HR that I could progress to earn half decent wages? I'm on around 43k at the moment but realise that the wage is rare for my sector.

Can anyone help?

You would need 2 years experience in an administrative support role, then look to make a move into HR Administration, while gaining a CIPD qualification. Have a look at the CIPD website for further information on career planning. I doubt you'll get anywhere near your current salary for many years though.
