Best/easiest blog

I wanted to set up a blog to link with my business and my social media pages (mainly Instagram)! Can people recommend the easiest, most user friendly blog sites to use? I will be talking about finance so want it to look appealing!

Self-hosted Wordpress blog and the best/most powerful commercial theme is “thrive themes”. Happy to PM you examples of what I’ve built using that platform.

Caveat - I’m a software engineer by trade, but Wordpress is the global standard and personally I won’t go near a professional business built on wix/weebly/site-builder.

Another fair option would be square space who have come on in leaps and bounds.
