Does anybody here sell on Amazon?

If so, can you tell me a little bit about how it works? And has it been worth it for you? This is something I am considering for my business as sales are slow and I need to get more income.
Thanks.

I don't but I have several clients who do.
I would recommend having as many sales channels as you can manage, including Etsy, eBay if appropriate.
Always keep your website and consider making some items exclusive to that if you manufacture.

@GrimDamnFanjo thank you, that's good advice. I currently only sell on my own website but I will looking into Etsy and eBay as well. Thanks.

Interested to hear how selling is going on Etsy and Ebay for people as I'm considering these two platforms. Taking the first step seems particularly difficult as I've never sold on-line before.

@Parkrun4475647 what type of thing are you planning to sell?

@GrimDamnFanjo I am selling skincare products. I would really appreciate some advice as the Amazon process is very confusing.

I would persevere with your own website and paid advertising. After ten years on eBay, Amazon and Etsy, I have closed my eBay shop and scaled back on Amazon. I am keeping Etsy for now as it works well for me and they do look after the sellers. The other two sites cause more stress than they are worth, and sales have depleted on both Amazon and eBay massively over the last year. No one goes to eBay anymore as their first port of call, and fewer are going to Amazon these days as well.

Hello, how do you advertise or where do you send people to? Your website? Or Amazon or Etsy? Thanks!
