Investing company profits?

I have my own limited company. I have some company savings, but business savings rates have dropped through the floor boards. Has anyone invested their company profits via a platform such as Hargreaves Lansdown?
I invest my own savings via an ISA but wonder if I can do this for my company in a separate investment account?
Any experience or knowledge on this please? Thank you.

You need to get an LEI number to buy stocks under your company name. No you can't put company money into personal savings and investment accounts- HMRC will view this as salary or a director's loan (you will pay interest on this) and if you don't pay it back a large penalty - of around 25%

Mydogruns thanks for your message. I'm not advocating a director's loan I meant investing it in the name of the company i.e. a separate company account.

Yes but you have to do that in the name of your company and you will need a LEI to buy shares under the company name - you cannot invest your company funds under a personal
Account.
