Does anybody use a garden office for their business? I run a business from home and have (probably stupidly) ordered a garden office without first checking I could get insurance.
I'm currently insured with Direct Line but as my garden office is timber framed they won't insure me. I'm making some enquiries with other brokers and waiting them getting back to me but from what I've seen online the wooden frame garden office insurance quotes are massive.
I've an awful lot of expensive equipment and computer so I need to be insured adequately but at the same time don't want to be paying thousands in insurance fees just for moving outside, as I don't earn a massive wage to begin with.
Anybody any experience of this?
