does anyone have any experience of them? am looking at the morph at the moment but not sure how good it will be for DS's hips/spine and wheter it's any good generally in real life (from the promo video it looks ace), can't seem to find many reviewsfor it

it's either this or the baby bjorn as baby hates the other types of sling i've tried (coorie, babasling...)

It doesn't look as though it would provide much in the way of support for your back, and if you had to buy two sizes of harness it would be very expensive. It is hard to tell but it doesn't look like the child is in a spread-squat position.

Although I've no experience of this model, I'm sure you could get a much better sling that would last a lot longer for the same sort of money.

How old is your baby? I used a bjorn up to about 4 months or so when it started to hurt my back. Although I'm not anti-bjorn in the same way that some people are, I do think it is terribly expensive for something that has only a very short period of use. If you do go for the bjorn consider getting one second hand as they go very cheaply on ebay.

If you want to carry the baby in an upright position consider a soft structured carrier (I rate the Beco Butterfly) or a mei tai. These will last well into toddlerhood.

looks gimmicky to me

if you really want something you can pass from parent to parent without waking the c hild, the Beco (as mentioined by Yeni) has anb internal harness

I have the morph carrier and I only got ine harness to begin with but quite soon after we bought it we went on one of our many walks and my husband wanted to go get the other harness ... You don't need the other harness but it's so good on s long walk to be able to pass my little girl onto my hubby! The harness is really comfy as it is sized to your own body shape and hss really great support on the back where there is a more 'moulded ' bit. My little girl loves goi g out I. It and as a result she must defintely find it comfy. What I would say is that it's very clever as it fits and changes to my body shape and to my little girls. I love it and would definitely recommend it over others I have used. My sister had the baby bjoen one that I used when my baby was first born but then I found this when I was at an m and p store and I much prefer it!
