I've just noticed that my DS (13wo) has got swollen little feet after 3hrs in his Moby. He had been sleeping during the last 2hrs but I pulled him out as soon as I noticed as I was worried about his circulation down there.

Has anyone else experienced this? He was in the tummy to tummy hug position, and I always make sure I spread the fabric as wide as poss. across each side of his bottom but the fabric does sometimes feel quite tight across his upper thighs iykwim.

Sorry but if this was me i would stop using immediately (i assume it is a sling??). Not worth the risk IMO. Could you borrow a different sling type to try instead?

though not his type i guess

safety issue

Thanks guys. The sling in question is a Moby wrap - not one I've heard of causing bad circulation. I wonder whether it was just the way he was sitting in it yesterday... I do try and keep his knees up high in froggy position but maybe they were dangling a bit yesterday? I've got another carrier so can use that until I work out what is going on with the Moby. Good idea re the socks - I'll put 2 pairs on when we're out as even with one pair his feet are often still quite cold.

I used to put mine in those trousers with feet (like half a babygro IYSWIM) as i found that socks did tend to fall off.
