My SIL is about to give birth to DC2, and has suddenly decided that actually a sling might be useful after all, so I thought it might be nice to order her one.

So, I'm guessing either a mobi or a kari-me (sp?) because I think she'll only want it for early days rather than long term, but where's a good place to get one? I got my amazing didymos from a friend, so have no idea where to buy...

I got a Moby on Amazon - 48 hour turnaround and it's a most fetching shade of green!

lots of small businesses, many run by WAHMs, sell them and would deliver just as speedily - there's a good linky list here

Thanks very much! I'll give a few places a call and see who can deliver quickly.

SIL has done the decent thing and kept her legs crossed (I'm sure she is thrilled to still be pregnant at 41+3), so have a day or two yet!

I got a peanut shell stretchy wrap at TKMAXX last week for £16.99 if you have one near you. Its great, holds my very heavy 8.5 month old really well! Wish I'd got it when she was a wee baby, cos its much better than my Calin Bleu.
