Carrier for 15 months old

Hi I would like some advice for a baby carrier for a 15 month old. We are going on holiday and there will be a lot of walking. I like the look of the little lite backpack ones but not sure there are so many options. Are they good? And any other you could recommend.

Is your toddler particularly big or small for age? Will it be hot?
I mostly used a woven wrap at that age, good for longer carries, as well as lots of up and down with the Ergo. I hated the sort you're looking at, but I have a bad back and use public transport so those bulky frames aren't good. Do you have a local sling library?

i do have an ergo but it hurts my back. I want something for my partner to carry the toddler who is normal sized a bit on the smaller side I think. My partner does not like the ergo at all so looking at something more structured.

Yes. Wovens are good for any age. I carry dc4 in one.
