Baby carrier for a short mum

For my first DC my friend lent me the Baby Bjorn carrier that just didn’t fit my body at all (5’1 petite build with short torso). I am due my second DC later this year when my son will be three and I think with running around after him it would be great to have a useable carrier this time. Any recommendations from other short mums? I think it’s unlikely any local sling libraries will be open for me to try out any in time.

The BabyBjorn is just shite. I'm 5'2" and we had a Beco Butterfly and an Ergo. Both were fine, I preferred the Ergo because it put most of the baby weight down to my hips. Do you have any friends with slings you could try?

Thank you @CountFosco - good to hear BB carrier is crap and it’s not just me! Good idea - I do have a friend who uses some sort of ergo baby one so when the government allows I’ll ask for a go

I'm a wee mammy at 4' 11" and I have used our Connecta (now Integra) for both our children, and from birth with my 2nd. Waistbands with padding don't work for me.

5ft here and found Ergo brilliant.
