Caboo Original (organic/cotton) vs Caboo Lite

Hello. Has anyone got any comparative/preference advice on the Caboo original vs Caboo Lite? Struggling to work out which will be better for us. Like the idea of the lightness of the Lite, but is it less supportive etc.

As background, am due in 2 week - so will be a spring/summer baby. Intend to use the Caboo for the first few months, and then move onto an Ergo 360. I like the idea of the Caboo as something that both me and my OH can use size wise (I'm 5ft7 size 10 and he's 6ft1). Don't think I will like the hassle of a non pre-tied wrap.

I appreciate I should go try out the wraps at my local sling library - but my local library is run fortnight at a date/time that I can not make, and I'm concerned I will be a bit rushed once the baby is here - so would like to get in advance of baby's arrival (fyi this does not apply to the Ergo, which I will try on before I buy, as don't intend to buy/use it yet for a couple of months).

Any advice much appreciated.

Original much longer but more fabric so possibly warmer.

I had the caboo original. DS was a winter baby and I still found it uncomfortably hot. It's three/four thick layers of jersey. The rings annoyed me and the fact that it was in two pieces. I ended up buying a cheap wrap for a tenner off Amazon and would tie it in the morning over a t shirt, put my cardi/coat over the top then could pop DS in and out all day. Worked brilliantly and was far more comfy. No knots or rings to dig in your back when driving/sitting and wasn't as warm. Sold my caboo on eBay. Once he was too big for a wrap I bought a beco soleil (buckled carrier) but the wrap was perfect for the newborn snuggly phase. He was so happy in it, slept though many lunches, cinema trips etc. So my vote would be neither as I think the simplicity is initailly appealing but a normal wrap is really very easy to put on and most people leave them tied all day so no hassle really.
