Carrier for 8 month old the size of a 1 year old!

I'm looking for recommendations for a carrier for my DD, she is 8 months old although very large for her age, already the size of a 1 year old and nearly 10kg. I will be doing a lot of travelling this year alone with DD (including plane journeys) and think it would be useful to have a carrier. Ideally something easy to put on, with clips or easy attachments rather than a wrap. I live in a very hot country so nothing too cosy. Something that will last for a while into the toddler years would be good. I don't have access to a sling library where I live so will need to order online and hope for the best, hence seeking recommendations. Thanks.

I loved my Manduca and carried my tall DS from 4 months until just over 2 in it. I probably could have used it longer but fancied buying a new one by then and got a bigger toddler size carrier. :)

You can cross the straps for front carries and I used it loads for back carrying once he was bigger.

I used it ok in hot weather in holiday, but another option might be the Connecta as it's just one layer of fabric so lighter weight You can get an extra lightweight "solarweave" UV protecting version too.

Hope you get something that works ok!

Thanks, I've ordered a Connecta solarweave!
