Slings/carriers: Boba 3g? Boba 4g? or other?

We're about to adopt a 10 month old boy. I like the idea of a sling / baby carrier for use over the next few years. I'm considering the Boba 3g. Would you recommend it or suggest better ones?

Does anyone know: is it worth paying more for the Boba 4g?

Both are good carriers. I suggest finding a local sling meet/library and going to look at a few before committing to buying.

We have the 4g and love it. We have a one year old and it's really comfortable. Not sure of difference between 3/4g.
