Anyone know anything about the Lascal M1 - comparison with Babybjorn/Beco Gemini?

Hi, does anyone know anything about the Lascal M1?

I was intending to get a Beco Gemini but they are £££ and I can't find any second hand. I don't want a Babybjorn (even though there are loads for sale near me) due to the hip position. However I do want outwards facing as an option for when the baby is older if she enjoys it.

A Lascal M1 has just come up for sale second hand near me, which would be a lot cheaper than the Gemini.

I can't work out if it is any better than the Bjorn - from looking at pics the baby's leg position seems slightly better than the Bjorn but not as good as the Gemini.

Any experience?

Nobody?

Alternatively, does anyone want to sell me a beco Gemini (black ideally)? Grin

I think exactly what you said - marginally better than the babybjorn, but still not really ergonomic, from the pictures. Does the babyhawk look good to you? I'm sure I've seen someone with their baby facing out in it, and it's definitely a good bit cheaper than the beco.

Thanks - just googled and it looks like the babyhawk can be made to forward face but isn't meant to be used like that ... which would bother me.

I have managed to get the Lascal for just £10 so I think I will start with that when she is tiny (at which stage I would stick to parent facing only). Then if she likes being in a sling and I find it comfortable I can then justify a Gemini (and maybe a second hand one will come up in the meantime).
