What should baby wear in a sling in this heat?

I have a VSL stretchy wrap and do what I think is called a front wrap cross carry, three layers of wrap over 5wo dd. legs are out. Yesterday I had her with no top but cloth nappy and trousers. Am paranoid about her getting too hot bc SID but also about her getting too cold bc my big sis got pneumonia as a baby in the heat of summer when mum dressed her apparently too lightly in a hot summer. Thanks in advance.

In this weather in a wrap I would think it impossible to get pneumonia in a wrap. I usually put something over legs if in the sun (tails of the wrap tied loosely over after tying properly at the back, or a muslin, or thin trousers, or the thin UV babylegs) and a very lightweight sunhat to keep the sun off their heads, but otherwise as little as possible.

FWIW babies can regulate their temperature much better in a wrap than e.g. in a pushchair as they are getting body heat from you, and your chest will sweat/cool them down if it's too hot too.
