Best toy sling/baby carrier?

We used a Connecta loads with DD(27m). We haven't used it much except when she was very tired for the last 6m but she obviously remembers it because she has started to try wrapping her teddy in a blanket in order to carry him on her tummy. This doesn't work terribly well and I was quite excited to find out that there are toy slings available to buy, see here. Problem is DD is quite little and most of these say for children aged 3-8 so I worry they won't fit her.

Has anyone got any experience of buying toy slings for little toddlers? Or ideas about how to make a good toy sling? She probably isn't too fussed about whether it is structured/semi-structured/wrap style etc!

No experience of buying a carrier, but if wraps are supposed to fit all adults what about a mini Moby wrap? She might need it folded and wrapped around a couple of times. Or could you make one if you gave a long bit of tshirt material anywhere? I don't think it even needs to be hemmed then.

That is probably a good plan Wrigglebum. Experimenting with a homemade wrap (which is what she is doing with the blanket) is probably the cheapest option in the short term. Though getting her to standstill long enouigh for me to tie it on might be hard be hard because she is a wrigglebum too...

I think the standing still might be an issue.

My friend's DD has had the toy Mei Tai since she was about 2 and it was okay.
