Fallen in love with a Didymos special edition, but am only newly pg

Should I buy it now, and tempt fate, or wait and worry about not being able to get hold of one? I only really like the plain Didy's otherwise, but love this one SO much!

It is the Didymos alpaca reindeer (I want a size 6), and as I'm not thinking about buying a pram unless we get a second hand cheap one, this is going to be the expensive thing. I'm worried dp will think I'm mad spending this much on a length of fabric!

For those that know, being 45% Alpaca, will it be insanely hot in the Summer?

yes i think it will be hot in summer. i could barely wear my cotton moby in the summer with ds3 tbh
BUT, you will wear for so much of the time outside of the summer that it will still be worth it and i would definitely buy it if i were you!

you might want to have a look at gauze wraps for the summer too though

You are all so knowledgeable, thank you! I am still very lost, as I didn't baby wear with dd, but am considering nothing else this time unless I really have to, i.e. if dp would rather use a buggy if I'm not there.

I'm due at the end of Aug, so will be heading straight in to Autumn, winter then Spring, so have three season's wear before it even looks at being warm. I love the silk too, they look so beautiful!

I think I'm going to buy and stash it! I feel terribly guilty, but ooooooooh so beautiful (and I'm pretending I'll get loads of time to practice wrapping then too!)

I did it, I bought it!!!! I have been staring at it for weeks, I cannot believe I have ordered it!!!

Dh is so going to ask how much it was, argh! But I love it so much!!!!! SO MUCH!!! I cannot believe I am going to sling it with this one, I am so excited!!!

Now I need the best (and easiest single-handed) ways of folding, EXCITED!!!
