Long-haul flight, best carrier for 9wk old?

I have a Kari-me sling that DD (now 2.4) loved but DS is not too keen on it and I have a v v long flight coming in two weeks (23-hour journey!) with two short stops.

I'll travel on my own with both so I'd like to get a carrier to help with DS. I've never used a carrier before and there are so many! Ideally I'd like one that is relatively easy to put on/off and that allows me to get DS in easily.

Any suggestions hugely appreciated!!

What do you not like about the Kari-Me....the amount of fabric? Maybe a carrier with buckles. I'd suggest the Manduca or Connecta (the latter can only be bought 2nd hand now, I think....they've stopped making them new).

The manduca has a more supportive waistband and as such will last longer in more comfort. You can back carry with both too when he gets bigger. You'd also be able to carry your 2.4 year old in the Manduca as well if you wanted to.

Thanks pootlebug. I love the Kari-Me, it's DS who's not keen on it. I've used it with him a few times and he wriggles and complains all the time. DD LOVED it, I used it a lot until she was about 1. That's why I thought of looking into the buckle-carrier type now.

I'll look into the Manduca and Connecta ones, thank you very much for the tip Smile
