Toddler patapum for big but young baby?

My 4 months old is the average weight of a ten month old and the length of a 1 year old... can use a toddler patapum instead of the baby version?

I was lent one and used it with DS2 from about 6mths (he is of average size). Seemed fine and no problems with it.
