advice - getting baby used to new moby

My baby is 2 weeks old and I just got my moby wrap - hurrah - very much looking forward to getting my hands back.

I'd be grateful for some advice from you experts, please. How would you advise that I introduce babes to the wrap? Presumably when he is well fed and contented? For short periods? All tips and recommendations gratefully received.

Also, what position would you advise? - been trying the cradle hold from the moby guide.

Thanks :)

With DS I started when he was happy and with short trips, but by the time he was a month old he was happy in there for up to three hours at a time. I'd bung him in and he would go to sleep within minutes and I would be able to shop/clean etc in peace-bliss!

DS had reflux and hated being in any position other than bolt upright so we used the newborn 'froggy' position until he was too big to tuck his feet in and then just the normal upright position.

I am so so jealous. The one thing I miss about having a little baby is when they are lying against you, all tucked up and asleep and you can watch them sleeping. Its a wonderful feeling, really is.

I use mine around the house too, she loves being in in while I do my housework and potter about! She is now 8 months and facing outwards, kicking her little legs and smiling at all the passers by when we are out!
Try different positions and see what suits you both, enjoy!
