Baby bjorn comfort carrier

Hi

I am looking to get a sling and this one has really taken my fancy. I have 22 month old twin girls and have a new baby who's 9lb and looks like she's set to be a big bundle of joy.

I am currently using a baby hawk but would like something that clips quickly and securly as I will have hands full when out on my own with all 3. I also want something that distributes the weight really well as I can see giving up on the sling if my back pulls etc.

The baby bjorn comfort stands out for me because it looks easy and looks like it won't give me back ache plus the ability to buy a cover to keep baby warm but I want some opinions from mummys who are sling pros. The only down side maybe you can't wear on your back. Is the Ergo better??

Advice would be fantastic! Cost isn't an issue. Just comfort etc.

Many thanks!!

Sarah

I can't comment on the Baby bjorn comfort carrier, but have the ergo which I'm now using with my 3rd dc and love it. I've never got the hang of wearing it on my back though!

Also you don't have the outward facing option with the ergo, which could be handy.

I have the baby bjorn classic, since LO was a few weeks old and I was about to ebay it as she HATED it, screamed and screamed in it. However, just this week I tried her front facing - she is 15 wks and has good head control and she loves it. The classic is suitable from 0+. I'm a bit on the fence about it, unlike mums who have slings and rave about them.

I also have the baby bjorn classic, which my little one loves, but I find it digs in my shoulders after a while. I'd also heard the positioning isn't so great for the baby. I have a sling wrap thing too which I hate and so does dc3, makes me feel like a bit of a failure but I just get all tangled and stressed putting it on!

Ergo is starting to sound good too..

BB carriers are never rated highly for comfort in forums I'm on. I've also come across many people who gave up carrying their baby early on because they assumed that all carriers/slings were as uncomfortable as a the BB.

Ergo, Connecta and Beco are all very well reviewed. In your position, I'd go for one of them instead.

I just got a Rose and rebellion this week and it's excellent, really comfy for me and Dd. Lasts right up to age of 3 or 20kg. Really easy to put on, just clip and go!

Thank you ladies!!!!

Now after a mama jacket lol

I have a BB Synergy and it's great. The extra back support vs BB Classic makes a huge difference. I love it and so does DD. Haven't seen the BB Comfort but the hip support looks like a great idea.
