As if you haven't got enough to compare, I recently bought a Boba 2G and am really happy with it - got it as it's one that's supposed to be comfortable up to 45lbs.

Love my Connecta, my DD (nearly 4) was in it the other day!

Can the baby face forwards too?

Think it was about £89.95, so not cheap but I'd spent ages agonising, going through the websites and reviews and nearly spent over £50 on a used Ergo - just decided it was a Christmas present to myself in the end. Got it from this website

website.

Yes the baby can face forwards, in fact that's how I've had mine so far and it feels very comfortable though he's a reasonably hefty 17 month old.

Right, been doing research:

I am tied between -

BOBA classic

Anemoi Deluxe Baby Sling

Sorry I've just realised I misread your post - the baby can't face forward in the Boba, just go on the front facing in to you. Somewhere I read that facing outwards isn't a great position for them, when they're older at least.

Hope you get there soon with the decisionmaking, I was annoying myself by the end of it.

Suzihaha · 16/01/2011 22:17

I've just bought a Boba 2G having spent almost 2 months reading up about it. Mine hasn't arrived yet but I will let you know once I have used it.

I love my Conneca, but what I really want is a Manduca, I've only heard great things about them, they're the bees knees apparently. Slumber Roo have them if you want to have a peek.

RE the baby facing out, it's not very good for them as the position they sit in isn't very supportive, so most carriers don't let you carry them like that.

kludge · 17/01/2011 09:16

I bought a Beco from SlumberRoo after hiring one first to make sure it was the right decision. I believe baby can face forwards in the Beco Gemini, but I have read somewhere that it is not good ergonomically. I use the Beco Butterfly and I love it (and get heaps of comments from random strangers on how happy/snug/cosy DD looks in it).

Just ordered my boba! Hope we get on well with it!
